Food (C)rave: The Halal Boys

Inspired by the famous The Halal Guys from New York,
here comes The Halal Boys.

Just tried the most talk about gyro rice bowl for today's lunch,
with the help of Go-Jek (Go-Jek is definitely a life saver at times like this).
Opted for Half & Half (IDR 55k) which means chicken and lamb over rice.
Flavorwise, the chicken didn't taste as strong as the lamb.
Maybe they do it intentionally to balance the flavour,
or maybe it's better when being eaten separately.

Yet didn't really work for me when I mixed it.
Still think the chicken can use up more spices. :)

What I like the most about my food today:
the generous portion and the long-grain yellow rice (should be basmati).
P. S. Now that Middle Eastern food is on the rise,
wonder if Gyros Alley will also get this much buzz when they open for business. Halal Guys - http://halalguysid.com - will definitely get much hype when they open for business this August. Stay tuned, folks!
